MSG or Monosodium Glutamate is a flavour enhancer which is commonly used in most foods and occurs naturally in foods such as tomatoes and cheese. Our MSG is produced from sugar cane or molasses. The great thing about MSG is that it can be used to reduce sodium by as much as 20-30% and still give you great flavour. The serving size is 1 tsp to 3-4 portions when preparing food. Having said the above MSG isn’t used in all of our seasonings and it most certainly isn’t used in our spices, cereals, grains or essences.
